Pattaya’s inaugural match in Thaileague 2

In their opening game of the 2023–2024 Thai Football League 2 season, Pattaya United played Samut Prakan City. Samut Prakan City attempted a penalty in the 13th minute of the game, but the attempt was unsuccessful. Pattaya Dolphins led 1-0 at the end of the first half after a goal by Pattaya United in the 36th minute. Nicholas Velez had a chance to score in the 50th minute, but the other team saved the ball. Samut Prakan City scored in the 76th minute to tie the game at one, then from a free kick in the 82nd, they went up 2-1. Pattaya United suffered a 1-2 defeat. The next game is slated to take place at Lampang FC on August 19, 2023.
