True Bangkok FC (BUFC), commonly known as “Krungthep,” defeated “Kitchee” 2-1, winning their ACL fixture in three consecutive games. True Bangkok United in the AFC Champions 2023/24 Group F football programme travelled for their third match, travelling to an away match against Kitchee SC, a representative from Hong Kong, on October 25, 2023. The team, led by coach Ban Thachatawan Sripan, played with the same 11 players; goalkeeper Phutthakit Khammai, centre player Suphan Thongsong, team captain Everton Goncalves, left and right backs Peerapat Notechaiya, Nitipong Selanont, three midfielders, Detsadu Limwansathien, Pokklao Anan, Thitiphan Phuangchan, and three forwards, Willen Mota, Mahmoud Ed, and Rungrat Phumchantuek.
The match began with a goal by Ruslan Minkasaw in the 7th minute, followed by a goal by Mahmoud in the 45+5 minute. In the 52nd minute, Willen Mota scored a penalty kick, hence giving BU FC a 2 – 1 lead.
True Bangkok United will return to True Stadium for their Thaileague 1 match against Ratchaburi FC on October 29, 2023.
